Toggleable option to "include subfolders" when clicking a folder in sidebar

jakepfaffenroth

Would be nice to make this a setting to quickly show all photos organized together logically by the filesystem, e.g., {Year}/{Month}/{Day}/{Filename} or {ClientName}/{Date}/{Filename}.

+1 ! (if I understood it correctly, just clicking any folder would open everything inside)

I'm not sure i understand correctly. Do you mean in the Group By options being able to show the path for each group?

Current behavior is that clicking a folder in the sources sidebar opens that folder in a tab, showing only the files in that folder. There's a right-click menu item to show files from the folder AND subfolders.

The proposed setting would flip that behavior - clicking a folder would show the contents of that folder and all subfolders, and right-click menu item would exclude the subfolders.

Thanks!

Have added a toggle in settings to invert the default behavior in the upcoming 1.7.21 release.

Super good! Instant toggle for me. Thanks.
