mypointofview With local Finder folders and folders shared by SMB there's the option to select a Finder Label. It would be useful to be able to add a color label also to an FTP server (if technically possible). Obviously this wouldn't be called "Finder Label" but for navigating the Sources side panel it would help to have colors here. It would be also useful if I could get the option to "Open in current tab with subfolders" as the other sources provide.
Jeff So the current implementation uses the native finder color labels, which isn't available within FTP shares. So this is the reason why this was omitted there. If it were to be added, it would have to be saved entirely within PhotoCullers own internal database. I could add this option there. The main reason I had initially omitted it is that loading very large folders over FTP could be a slow experience, and opening up subfolders greatly increases this risk.
mypointofview I use Dark Mode and it's hard to notice the FTP share in the side bar because there's no larger folder icon. So yes, a color label would be useful. Also, the titles of the other shares show brighter when clicked but the FTP share title stays grayed out (all in Dark Mode). In the screenshot below the FTP share is selected and showing the images: Thanks for adding this option to v1.7.21 (74)
