I have a few suggestions regarding the Workflow modal/screen, specifically around header layout and execution safety. I use PhotoCuller mainly on a large iPad Pro.
Current Pain Points:
Accidental Triggers: The preset bookmark icon sits directly next to the Run button. Because the touch target for the bookmark is small and close to "Run", it's very easy to accidentally trigger a batch operation on hundreds of files when just trying to select a preset.
Lack of Visual Confirmation: Because the current title just says "Workflow", I often find myself double-checking every single step or re-opening the bookmark menu just to confirm which preset is actually active before running it.
Suggested Changes:
- Replace "Workflow" header with a Preset Selector Dropdown: Instead of a generic title and a small bookmark icon, make the top-center text display the Active Preset Name (e.g., "Import & Rename ▼"). Tapping this opens the preset picker.
- Replace "Close" with an
✕ icon: Saves horizontal space and aligns with standard modal design.
- Differentiate "Run": Give the Run button more visual prominence/isolation so it feels like a distinct, deliberate action rather than just another top-bar item.
Why this helps: Running a batch workflow (renaming/moving hundreds of photos) carries high stakes--much like sending an email campaign. Users need clear confirmation of what is loaded and safe spacing around the trigger button to execute with confidence.
